Burke’s Alewerks Label Designs
Burke’s Alewerks was started by Brian Burke, a longtime home brewer who, fed up with the corporate life, quit his job to hone his craft at the prestigious Seibel Institute in Chicago and the Doemens Academy in Munich. After a few stints with local Boston breweries Brian was ready to open his own brewery. With a focus on traditional European and American style ales, the heart of the Burke’s experience is its taproom, a community gathering space where friends and those soon to be friends come together to enjoy conversations and good times.
Back in 2018 Brian approached us to design the labels for his 16oz offerings being sold out of the brewery. The creative needed to be easily identifiable to both customers and staff of the brewery while fostering a classic look and feel that was uncomplicated, approachable and clean.
In the years since we started working with Brian we’ve been fortunate enough to design a number of styles that include can labels and specialty bottles. As fun as it’s been to team up with Burke’s what’s most exciting is what comes next and we’re always ready to jump back in for the next design with the team from Burke’s Alewerks in Hanover, MA.
